В Кремле уточнили, что Россия не поставляет оружие ССА, и попросили “не цепляться” к формулировкам
Россия не поставляет вооружение Сирийской свободной армии (ССА), речь идет исключительно о поставках в рамках военно-технического сотрудничества с Сирией, подчеркнул пресс-секретарь президента РФ Дмитрий Песков. Накануне Владимир Путин заявил, что Россия оказывает ССА “помощь в вооружении, боеприпасах и материальных средствах”.
“У нас есть определенные поставки того, что называется специальным имуществом. Эти поставки в строгом соответствии с международным правом осуществляются. Россия поставляет оружие Сирийской Арабской Республике, легитимным властям Сирийской Арабской Республики”, – заявил Песков, призвав “не цепляться” к формулировкам (цитата по агентству “Интерфакс”).
В ходе своего выступления в пятницу Путин отметил, что действия российской вооруженной группировки в арабской республике заслуживают высокой оценки. По его словам, российские военные способствуют объединению сирийских правительственных войск и Свободной сирийской армии, которая также наступает.
Глава государства рассказал, что в настоящее время “несколько частей общей численностью свыше пяти тысяч человек, так же, как и регулярные войска, ведут наступательные действия против террористов в провинции Хомс, Хама, Алеппо”. “Кроме этого, мы поддерживаем их с воздуха, так же, как и сирийскую армию, оказываем им помощь в вооружении, боеприпасах и материальных средствах”, – добавил президент.
Путин также выступил с предупреждением для тех, кто “вновь попытается организовать какие бы то ни было провокации против наших военнослужащих”: “Нами уже приняты дополнительные меры по обеспечению безопасности российских военнослужащих и авиабазы. Она усилена новыми авиазвеньями и средствами ПВО. Все действия ударной авиации ведутся под прикрытием истребителей”.
Воздушная операция ВКС РФ в Сирии началась 30 сентября. С тех пор западные политики и правозащитники неоднократно заявляли, что Россия бомбит на сирийской территории скорее места дислокации оппозиции, поддерживая таким образом армию Асада, нежели позиции ИГ.
