Состав, изготовление и виды печного кирпича
Так как печной кирпич будет выдерживать температуры сгорания твердого топлива, он должен соответствовать таким требованиям:
Иметь жароустойчивость выше 1000 ˚С на протяжении длительного времени и при этом не утрачивать свою прочность.
Обладать малой теплопроводностью для возможности защиты стоящих рядом строительных конструкций.
Материал должен быть термостойким, чтобы выполнять свои функции в условиях постоянных циклов нагревания и охлаждения.

Жаростойкий кирпич производят на специальных заводах с учётом ГОСТ-390-96. Сырье для печного кирпича состоит из тугоплавких особых сортов глины – до 70%. Добавление присадок в виде шихты дает возможность получить блоки с различными свойствами.
