На границе Украины и России появились противотанковые рвы длиной в 230 км
Украина оборудовала на границе с Россией противотанковые рвы длиной в 230 км. Фортификационные сооружения появились в 2015 году в Харьковской и Черниговской областях. Между тем еще в 2014 году, после начала конфликта на Донбассе, Украина заявляла о намерении создать на границе с Россией не то стену, не то ров.
Помимо рвов, были установлены 32 наблюдательные вышки, обустроено 115 км рокадных дорог, 72 км металлического заградительного забора и девять огневых позиций на 10 человек и пять опорных пунктов, говорится в отчете о ходе и результатах выполнения программы деятельности кабинета министров Украины.
Украина также приобрела четыре боевые модуля на базе легкобронированной платформы “Тритон” и развернула систему оптико-электронного наблюдения в Дергачевском районе Харьковской области.
Результаты деятельности украинской оборонки стали известны на фоне предположений о скором выполнении минских соглашений и возможности отмены антироссийских санкций. Ранее отмены санкций в ближайшее время не исключили в США и Франции.
В сентябре 2014 года сообщалось о появлении “оборонительных” инженерных сооружений с украинской стороны. Власти Украины назвали этот проект “Стена”. Тогда украинскими военными были укреплены выкопанные несколько лет назад приграничные рвы. Первые работы начались в Харьковской области: там в сентябре 2014 года прорыли противотанковый ров длиной 17 км.
Строительство планировалось реализовать в два этапа: на первом – обустроить участки границы, которые находятся вне зоны конфликта на Донбассе, на втором, который начнется по окончании боевых действий, – укрепить границу на участке протяженностью примерно 400 км в Донецкой и Луганской областях.
Идея воссоздать укрепления появилась на фоне конфликта на Донбассе – власть в некоторых регионах захватили сепаратисты, заявившие об отделении от Украины. В Киеве подозревали, что сепаратистам помогает Россия, в том числе отправляя военных и вооружения.
Но если брать ситуацию в целом, то строительство инженерных сооружений с украинской стороны было начато еще в 2005 году. Тогда выкопанные траншеи предназначались для борьбы с контрабандой.
