В Японии скончался старейший мужчина на земле
Во вторник, 19 января, в Японии скончался старейший житель планеты Ясутаро Коидэ, сообщает ТАСС со ссылкой на больницу в городе Нагоя, где он проходил лечение. Ему было 112 лет.
Причиной смерти стала хроническая сердечная недостаточность.
Долгожитель родился 13 марта 1903 года в городе Цуруга в префектуре Фукуи. В Нагою он переехал в возрасте 107 лет. Практически до самой смерти он не имел серьезных проблем со здоровьем и мог читать без очков.
Коидэ был официально признан самым пожилым мужчиной на планете в августе прошлого года, когда также в возрасте 112 лет скончался его соотечественник Сакари Момои.
В настоящее время неофициально самым пожилым человеком на Земле считается 122-летняя жительница Вьетнама Нгуен Тхи Чу. Официально же титул самого пожилого жителя планеты принадлежит американке Сюзанне Джонс из нью-йоркского района Бруклин – ей исполнилось 116 лет.
