“По оценкам Nord Stream, это одноразовый ROV (remote operated vechile, дистанционно управляемый аппарат). Подобные аппараты используются для обезвреживания старых мин, одновременно взрывается и сам аппарат”, – пояснил шведскому информационному агентству ТТ представитель военного ведомства Йеспер Стольпе после контактов с представителями управляющей компании газопровода.
По его словам, военные, связавшись с компанией Nord Stream AG, исключили возможность саботажа.
По словам представителя шведских ВС, такими аппаратами пользуются военные многих стран, занимающиеся разминированием в Балтийском море, поэтому сказать, кто именно является его владельцем, он не может.
“В данный момент объект не представляет опасности ни для газопровода, ни для морского движения в районе. Но взрывное устройство может представлять потенциальную опасность при неправильном с ними обращении”, – заверил Стольпе.
“Северный поток” (Nord Stream) – магистральный газопровод между Россией и Германией, проложенный по дну Балтийского моря.
