Мировые продажи шампанского в 2015 году установили рекорд, превысив показатели докризисного 2007 года, передает Reuters. Рост потребления шампанского стал возможен благодаря постоянству спроса на экспортных рынках, благоприятной валютной ситуации и стабилизации продаж во Франции.
По оценкам экспертов Reuters, в 2015 году в мире было продано 312 млн бутылок шампанского, что на 2–3% больше, чем в 2014 году. При этом выручка выросла на 4,4%, до €4,7 млрд.
До этого рекордным считался 2007 год, когда выручка от продажи шампанского достигла €4,56 млрд, однако после этого продажи упали в связи с началом мирового финансового кризиса 2008–2009 годов.
С апреля 2014 года европейская валюта сохраняла тренд на ослабление по сравнению с долларом США. От уровня 1,40 в начале второго квартала 2014 года к концу 2015 года евро опустился до отметки 1,0559 за один доллар.
В третьем квартале 2015 года ВВП 19 стран еврозоны вырос относительно июля—сентября предыдущего года на 1,6%. Поддержку экономике региона оказал рост частного потребления и государственных расходов.
