Мировые цены на нефть снизились по ходу торгов в Лондоне на 2%. Стоимость барреля североморской марки Brent опустилась ниже $40 за баррель c двухмесячного максимума
Резкое падение котировок началось около 17:00 мск, когда стоимость барреля Brent достигла отметки в $41,46. В течение часа цены на нефть опустились ниже отметки в $40, после чего на рынке произошла небольшая коррекция.
7 марта цены на нефть выросли почти на 6%, впервые в этом году превысив отметку в $41.
Эксперты Bloomberg объяснили происходившее накануне на Лондонской бирже сообщениями о снижении числа работающих буровых установок, а также падением уровня производства нефти в США до минимального показателя с ноября 2014 года.
Согласно данным Baker Hughes Inc., которые приводит агентство, количество нефтяных буровых установок в США снизилось до 392, что является самым низким показателем с декабря 2009 года. Кроме того, данные Комиссии по торговле товарными фьючерсами свидетельствуют о том, что перспектива снижения и застывания цен на уровне $20 за баррель исчезла.
На фоне роста цен на нефть российский индекс ММВБ в понедельник достиг максимальной за восемь лет отметки — 1909 пунктов.
