По оценкам аналитиков, лесные пожары в канадской провинции Альберта привели к снижению поставок нефти на 800 тыс барр./сутки. Не исключаются и дальнейшие перебои. Цены на нефть выросли в четверг почти на 3%
Крупные лесные пожары в окрестностях Форт-МакМюррея, центра по добыче нефти из битуминозных песков в канадской провинции Альберта, привел к сокращению поставок из этого региона на 800 тыс. барр./сутки, пишет Financial Times со ссылкой на аналитиков британской консалтинговой фирмы Energy Aspects. По их оценке, «ситуация остается нестабильной и можно ожидать дальнейших перебоев».
По данным канадской телекомпании CBC, непосредственной угрозы месторождениям в районе Форт-МакМюррея нет, но нефтяные компании сокращают добычу в качестве мер предосторожности, эвакуируя из опасной зоны персонал и членов их семей. В частности, об этом говорится в сообщении компании Suncor Energy.
Представитель компании Shell Кэмерон Йост заявил CBC, что в качестве меры предосторожности закрыто месторождение Олбиэн-Сэндс и принимаются меры к эвакуации 2 тыс. человек из числа персонала.
