По итогам 2016 года Россия впервые стала лидером по экспорту пшеницы
В 2016 году российские сельхозпроизводители отправили на экспорт 25 млн т пшеницы, что на 14% превышает показатель предыдущего года. В результате Россия впервые стала крупнейшим поставщиком пшеницы на мировой рынок по итогам целого года, сообщает «Интерфакс» со ссылкой на данные Российского экспортного центра (РЭЦ).
По данным РЭЦ, прежний лидер — США — экспортировал в 2016 году примерно 24 млн т пшеницы, Канада и Австралия — по 20 млн т, Франция и Украина — по 18 млн т.
Крупнейшим импортером российской пшеницы стал Египет, закупивший 5,7 млн т зерна. Крупными покупателями пшеницы из России стали также Турция, Бангладеш, Нигерия, Азербайджан, Йемен, Судан, Иран, Марокко, ЮАР и Ливан.
В июле 2016 года Минсельхоз США в своем докладе сообщил о том, что Россия, вероятно, станет крупнейшим экспортером пшеницы в новом сезоне. В сентябре 2016 года министр сельского хозяйства Александр Ткачев на встрече с президентом России Владимиром Путиным заявил, что за последние пять-семь лет экспорт российского зерна за границу увеличился на 30–40%.
В свою очередь Путин назвал первоочередной задачей сельхозпроизводителей обеспечение зерном внутреннего российского рынка.
