Новый министр энергетики Саудовской Аравии заявил, что Эр-Рияд будет стремиться к удовлетворению спроса на углеводороды своих клиентов и придерживаться действующей нефтяной политики, заключающейся в сохранении доли рынка
Саудовская Аравия намерена продолжить текущую политику в нефтяной сфере, заявил в воскресенье, 8 мая, новый министр энергетики королевства Халед аль-Фалех, передает Reuters. «Саудовская Аравия останется при своей установившейся политике в нефтяной сфере. Мы по-прежнему привержены сохранению нашей роли на международных энергетических рынках и укреплению наших позиций как самого надежного поставщика энергии в мире», — заявил аль-Фалех.
В его заявлении, распространенном по электронной почте, также говорится, что Саудовская Аравия стремится удовлетворить как существующий, так и дополнительный спрос на углеводороды «со стороны растущей глобальной клиентской базы», и способствовать этому будут, по словам министра, нынешние объемы производства.
Начиная с 2014 года Саудовская Аравия проводит политику сохранения своей доли на нефтяном рынке и не сокращает производство для поддержания цен на нефть. Заявление аль-Фалиха подтверждают предположения аналитиков о том, что никаких изменений в нефтяной политике Эр-Рияда в результате назначения нового министра энергетики не будет, отмечает Reuters.
О назначении министром энергетики, промышленности и минеральных ресурсов аль-Фалиха, который является главой крупнейшей нефтяной компании королевства Saudi Aramco, стало известно накануне. Указом короля Салмана ибн Абдул-Азиза аль-Сауда глава Министерства нефти Али ан-Нуайми был снят с должности, а само министерство переименовано.
Как отмечал Bloomberg, аль-Фалих, как и его предшественник на этом посту, не является членом саудовской правящей семьи, и его назначение соответствует принятой в королевстве практике, когда нефтяной промышленностью управляет министр, не входящий в королевскую семью.
Перестановка в нефтяном ведомстве Саудовской Аравии произошла в рамках изменений в правительстве королевства, происходящих на фоне одобренной в конце апреля программы развития страны «Видение 2030 года». После принятия этого плана, включающего Национальный план трансформации, сын короля Муххамед бен Салман говорил, что уже к 2020 году страна «сможет жить без нефти».
