Акции Glencore подскочили на 10% после рекордного падения
Стоимость акций швейцарского трейдера Glencore, занимающегося торговлей сырьевыми ресурсами, поднялась на утренних торгах на Лондонской фондовой бирже более чем на 10%, сообщает Financial Times. Таким образом, цена бумаг компании поднялась до 75,93 пенса.
Накануне акции Glencore обвалились на 29% до исторического минимума в 70,66 пенса. Аналитики связали падение с длительным снижением цен на сырьевых рынках.
В инвестиционном банке Citi, который две недели назад возглавил размещение акций Glencore на сумму $2,5 млрд, заявили, что распродажа бумаг была «чрезмерной» и что компания следует провести делистинг, если рынок не будет оценивать ее стоимость «справедливо». Это заявление, отмечает FT, привело к росту ее акций во вторник.
Представитель Glencore в Лондоне отказалась от комментариев, сославшись на то, что не знакома с оценками Citi.
Обвал акций Glencore лишил его главу Ивана Глазенберга статуса держателя миллиардной доли в компании: к моменту закрытия биржи вечером в понедельник его доля оценивалась в £850 млн.
