Несмотря на падение доходности валютных вкладов, VIP-клиенты банков не спешат конвертировать свои депозиты из долларов и евро в рубли. При этом они увеличивают вложения в другие валютные инструменты, показал опрос РБК
Укрепление рубля и снижение ставок по вкладам в иностранной валюте в 2016 году не побудило состоятельных вкладчиков отказаться от хранения сбережений в долларах и евро в пользу национальной валюты. При этом темпы сокращения доли валютных депозитов в 2016 году оказались медленнее, чем после кризиса 2008 года. Вкладчики, особенно состоятельные, продолжают относиться к российской валюте с осторожностью, показал опрос РБК.
При этом тренд последних месяцев — сокращение доли валютных вкладов — связан прежде всего с курсовыми изменениями, а не с движением из валюты в рубли, констатируют лидеры рынка.
Историческая память
В 2015 году, в разгар обострения финансово-экономической ситуации на фоне конфликта на востоке Украины, сопровождавшегося введением санкций со стороны Евросоюза и США, россияне обратились к доллару, и к концу года доля валютных вкладов, по данным ЦБ, выросла за год на 3,3 п.п., до 30,1%.
В 2016 году, главным образом во второй его половине, ряд факторов, включая усиление интереса иностранных инвесторов к российским активам и рост цен на нефть, способствовал укреплению рубля к доллару на 17%. Всего за год банки, стремясь стабилизировать долю валютных депозитов, довели ставки по ним до уровня ниже 1%. По расчетам РБК на основе данных 15 крупнейших банков по объему привлечения вкладов физических лиц, на конец декабря средняя ставка по депозитам в долларах в зависимости от срока размещения составляла от 0,32 до 1,14%, в евро — от 0,17 до 0,43%. Для сравнения, средние ставки по рублевым депозитам варьировались от 6,24 до 6,67%.
К декабрю доля валютных вкладов от общего объема составляла, по данным ЦБ, 25,7 против 30,1% в начале года. ЦБ свою статистику раскрывает в рублевом выражении, однако если перевести данные по объему валютных депозитов из рублей в доллары по курсу ЦБ на отчетный период, то окажется, что объем депозитов в долларовом выражении даже вырос — с $93,6 млрд на 1 января до $93,8 млрд на 1 декабря, показывают расчеты РБК. При этом в целом приток объема вкладов (и в рублях, и в иностранной валюте) в январе—ноябре 2016 года составил 10,2% (в 2015 году он был 25%).
«Несмотря на весь оптимизм начала 2017 года, должен сказать, что люди не очень верят в экономический рост и национальную валюту. Целая часть клиентов не хочет из валюты в рубли уходить. Это вопрос веры в устойчивый рост», — говорил президент, председатель правления банка ВТБ24 Михаил Задорнов на Гайдаровском форуме. В беседе с РБК он уточнил, что доля валютных вкладов за 2016 год у ВТБ24 упала на 6%: с 51–52% в начале года до 45%. «Это довольно большое снижение, но его темпы медленнее, чем были после прошлого кризиса [в 2008–2009 годах]. Во многом снижение доли связано не с движением [вкладчиков] из валюты в рубли, а просто с самим курсовым изменением. Если мы берем наиболее состоятельных граждан, то у них несильно падает доля валюты. Это в нашем портфеле, но я уверен, что и в целом по банковской системе».
Как уточняет вице-президент, директор департамента по работе с VIP-клиентами ВТБ24 Павел Кудрявцев, VIP-клиенты имеют наибольшую долю валюты среди всех клиентских сегментов. По итогам 2016 года доля валютных вкладов VIP-клиентов в пассивах в рублевом выражении составила 67%, сократившись с 2015 года на 3 п.п. «Если учесть укрепление рубля на 17% за 2016 год, то в валюте объем только вырос. Но надо понимать, что восстановление доверия к рублю — длительный процесс и занимает несколько лет», — отметил он.
Мнение ВТБ24 разделяют и другие участники банковского сектора. «Вкладчики, опираясь на опыт последних лет, убедились, что рубль сильно зависит от цены на нефть, которая плохо предсказуема, даже, я бы сказал, непредсказуема, а также от действий властей, — говорит член правления Бинбанка Олег Вьюгин. — Понятно, что это для состоятельных вкладчиков играет большую роль, тогда как доходность — уже второй фактор». В Бинбанке доля валютных вкладов в общем портфеле розничных депозитов сократилась с начала года на 5%, до около 20%.
«Доля валюты в сбережениях состоятельных граждан традиционно высокая, на уровне 50% от всего портфеля, размещенного VIP-клиентами. Состоятельные граждане привыкли диверсифицировать свои сбережения, обычно примерно половина приходится на валютные вклады», — отметил представитель Бинбанка. При этом клиенты банка, конвертируя средства, отдавали предпочтение не рублевым вкладам, а другим валютным инструментам, главным образом фондовому рынку, включая еврооблигации, добавил он.
О несущественном сокращении доли валютных депозитов VIP-клиентов в минувшем году говорят и в Московском кредитном банке. Доля валютных депозитов VIP-клиентов МКБ снизилась на 8%, до 35% от общего объема средств физлиц.
Не торопятся конвертировать долларовые вклады в рублевые и клиенты банка «ЮниКредит». «Доля валютных вкладов в портфеле всегда была значительна в силу специфики наших клиентов, — говорит директор департамента розничных продаж банка Сергей Васяткин, не уточняя показатель. — Клиенты продолжают относиться к рублю с осторожностью. Если и происходит снижение остатков по счетам валютных депозитов, то лишь по той причине, что клиенты переводят средства в инструменты и продукты, которые позволяют оставаться в иностранной валюте, но так, чтобы получать большую доходность».
В Абсолют-банке доля валютных вкладов состоятельных клиентов сократилась за год на 10%, к 1 января 2017 года она составила 57%, говорит директор департамента развития частного банковского бизнеса Абсолют-банка Евгений Сафонов. «Cовсем небольшое количество состоятельных клиентов решили зафиксировать доход и перейти из валюты в рубли. В основном все, кто успел купить валюту в 2014-м, до сих пор предпочитают хранить свои сбережения в ней», — отметил он. По словам Сафонова, состоятельные клиенты размещают средства в иностранной валюте. В то же время он подчеркнул, что у других категорий клиентов доля валютных депозитов крайне незначительна.
В Сбербанке доля валютных вкладов за 2016 год снизилась с 24 до 20% в общей структуре пассивов физических лиц (без учета переоценки она выросла за год с 24 до 26%), сообщили в пресс-службе банка. Раскрыть детали по данным показателям у состоятельных клиентов в банке отказались.
Ставки без изменений
Большинство опрошенных РБК участников рынка ожидают, что в 2017 году ставки по валютным депозитам пересматриваться не будут. «Действующие сейчас ставки очень низкие (особенно по вкладам в евро), и их дальнейшее снижение уже вряд ли возможно.
Повышение ставок по валютным депозитам тоже маловероятно, так как в настоящее время у банков ограничены возможности по размещению привлеченных валютных вкладов», — говорит Сафонов.
Вместе с тем первый зампред правления Совкомбанка Сергей Хотимский ожидает роста ставок к концу 2017 года — на 0,5%.
