Коллекционеры назвали лучшую банкноту года

Новая банкнота в пять новозеландских долларов признана лучшей банкнотой 2015 года. Среди претендентов, выдвинутых на конкурс, была российская сторублевка, посвященная Крыму
Международная ассоциация коллекционеров бумажных денежных знаков (International Bank Note Society, IBNS) признала новую банкноту достоинством пять новозеландских долларов лучшей банкнотой 2015 года, сообщается на сайте организации.
Банкнота-победитель выполнена в оранжево-коричневой цветовой гамме. На одной стороне банкноты изображен новозеландский альпинист сэр Эдмунд Хиллари, который в 1953 году стал одним из первых покорителей Эвереста. Хиллари совершал восхождение в альпинисткой двойке с непальским шерпой Тенцингом Норгеем. На обратной стороне новозеландской пятидолларовой банкноты изображен пингвин.
Дизайн банкноты достоинством пять новозеландских долларов Резервный банк Новой Зеландии представил в 2015 году. Банкноту печатает Canadian Bank Note Company в Оттаве.

Победитель был выбран по итогам голосования членов IBNS. Ближайшими преследователями лидера стали банкноты в 20 шведских крон с изображением детской писательницы Астрид Линдгрен, российская юбилейная 100-рублевая купюра с изображением достопримечательностей Крыма, купюра в 20 тыс. казахстанских тенге и шотландские пять фунтов. Всего в конкурсе IBNS участвовало два десятка банкнот со всего мира, выпущенных строго в 2015 году.

Всего в 2015 году было выпущено 150 новых банкнот, но лишь немногие из них имели достаточно новый дизайн, чтобы быть выдвинутыми на конкурс, отмечается в сообщении IBNS.
