Министр нефти Ирана Биджан Зангане назвал смехотворным предложение России и стран ОПЕК о заморозке уровня добычи нефти. После этого заявления мировые цены на нефть начали падать, Brent потеряла около 4%
Предложение России и нескольких стран ОПЕК о заморозке уровня добычи нефти на январском уровне является смехотворным. Об этом заявил министр нефти Ирана Биджан Зангане, передает Bloomberg.
«Это просто смехотворно, они предлагают заморозить добычу нефти и призывают к этому с добычей на уровне 10 млн баррелей в день, тогда как Иран добывает 1 млн баррелей в день», — сказал министр. С его точки зрения, если Иран сократит уровень добычи, «его значительно обойдут соседние государства».
Как отмечает Bloomberg, заявление Зангане спровоцировало падение цен на нефть. В 20:33 мск апрельские фьючерсы на Brent торговались у отметки $33,34/барр. Это на 3,89% ниже, чем на открытии торгов. На минимуме стоимость Brent падала до $33,1, то есть более чем на 4%. В свою очередь, цена американской WTI к 20:35 мск опустилась на 4,7%, до $31,82/барр.
Во вторник, 16 февраля, Россия, Саудовская Аравия, Катар и Венесуэла объявили о готовности заморозить добычу нефти на январском уровне. Страны выразили надежду, что такая мера поможет сдержать рост переизбытка нефти на рынке и поднять ее стоимость. Позднее о готовности присоединиться к этой мере заявила Нигерия.
После этого представители ОПЕК провели переговоры с Ираном и Ираком, чтобы убедить и их присоединиться к соглашению. После переговоров Биджан Зангане заявил, что его страна поддерживает инициативу по заморозке добычи в качестве первого шага к сбалансированному рынку и восстановлению цен. При этом позднее источники Reuters сообщили, что Тегеран отказался поддержать инициативу по двум причинам. Иранские власти сочли меры недостаточными, а также заявили о стремлении вернуться к досанкционному уровню добычи.
В субботу глава Минэнерго Александр Новак заявил, что, с его точки зрения, требовать от Ирана заморозки добычи несправедливо. «Мы понимаем позицию Ирана, который только вышел из режима санкций. Сегодня неувеличение объемов добычи иранской нефти вроде как не совсем справедливо к данной стране», — пояснил министр.
