Голанские высоты навсегда останутся под контролем Израиля, заявил Нетаньяху перед встречей с Путиным
Премьер-министр Израиля Биньямин Нетаньяху заявил, что Голанские высоты навсегда останутся под контролем еврейского государства. В регионе, который Израиль отвоевал у Сирии, впервые прошло выездное заседание правительства.
Нетаньяху заявил: “Вот уже 49 лет Израиль контролирует Голанские высоты, и это мирное, процветающее место. Израиль никогда не отступит с Голанских высот, и граница не будет передвинута, как бы ни развивались события по ту ее сторону. Всем очевидно, что Израиль – не источник проблем на Голанах, а путь к их разрешению”. (Цитата по NEWSru Israel.)
Как отмечается, заявление прозвучало накануне переговоров Нетаньяху с президентом России Владимиром Путиным. Пресс-служба главы правительства по поводу предстоящего визита в РФ распространила следующую информацию: “В четверг, 21 апреля, премьер-министр Беньямин Нетаньяху будет находиться с кратким рабочим визитом в России и встретится с президентом РФ Владимиром Путиным. В ходе встречи планируется обсудить актуальные вопросы двустороннего сотрудничества. Кроме того, стороны обменяются мнениями по важнейшим темам региональной и глобальной повестки дня, таким как палестино-израильское урегулирование, ситуация в Сирии и другим”.
Контроль над Голанскими высотами Израиль захватил в ходе Шестидневной войны 1967 года, когда армии арабской коалиции (Египет, Сирия, Иордания, Ирак и Алжир) напали на Израиль и потерпели поражение. До этого с 1944 года они являлись частью сирийской провинции Эль-Кунейтра.
СМИ сообщают, что в частных беседах и во время встреч с влиятельными политиками Нетаньяху неоднократно говорил, что Башару Асаду в сложившихся обстоятельствах, когда он контролирует всего 20% сирийской территории, следует “забыть” о претензиях на Голанские высоты.
