Курды и правительственные войска договорились о перемирии на северо-востоке Сирии
Курдские силы безопасности “Асаиш” и проправительственные силы объявили о прекращении огня в районе города Камышли на северо-востоке Сирии, сообщает агентство Reuters со ссылкой на заявление курдской стороны. Трехдневное противостояние в этом районе унесло жизни как минимум 26 человек.
По данным агентства, силы “Асаиш” заявили, что соглашение вступило в силу в 15:30 по местному времени в пятницу и продолжает соблюдаться в субботу.
Город Камышли, располагающийся неподалеку от турецкой границы, большей частью контролируется курдскими силами безопасности. В то же время проправительственные силы все еще держат под контролем несколько районов в центре города и городской аэропорт, напоминает РИА “Новости”.
Находящаяся в сфере интересов Турции северная часть Сирии, где представлены правительственные силы, курдские формирования, активны экстремисты “Исламского государства” и “Джебхат ан-Нусры” (обе группировки запрещены в России) – один из самых сложных регионов после заключения перемирия.
С конца февраля в Сирии действует режим прекращения огня, согласованный при участии военных России и США. Перемирие не распространяется на запрещенные в России и ряде других стран организации “Исламское государство”, “Джебхат ан-Нусра” (сирийское подразделение “Аль-Каиды”) и другие формирования, признанные Советом Безопасности ООН террористическими.
Вооруженный конфликт в Сирии продолжается с 2011 года. Правительственным войскам противостоят банды боевиков, принадлежащие к различным вооруженным формированиям.
