Немецкий генерал, командующий учениями НАТО, заявил, что российская “мощь застала Альянс врасплох”
Командующий крупными военными учениями НАТО Trident Juncture немецкий генерал Ханс-Лотар Домрезе выразил обеспокоенность техническими возможностями, появившимися у российской армии, сообщает немецкий таблоид Bild, который цитирует InoPressa.
По словам Домрезе, запусками крылатых ракет с кораблей по целям в Сирии Россия показала, что теоретически они в состоянии угрожать Берлину со своих кораблей в Каспийском море. “Президент Путин вооружился так сильно, как мы не ожидали. Это полностью застало нас врасплох”, – подчеркнул немецкий генерал.
Он добавил, что Путин оказался в состоянии в отдельных регионах полностью доминировать над Североатлантическим альянсом. “Путин обладает потенциалом закрыть нам доступ к нашим союзникам”, – сказал Домрезе, имея в виду такие регионы, как Калининград, Молдавия, Грузия, Каспийское море. Из-за это нынешний военный баланс может быть нарушен, считает Домрезе.
Военные учения Trident Juncture проходят на территории трех стран – Португалии, Испании и Италии – и продлятся месяц. Общая численность военных, принимающих участие в маневрах, достигает 36 тыс. человек. Специально для учений неподалеку от испанской Сарагосы был построен искусственный город Каза-Альта, контроль над которым и придется вернуть войскам НАТО. Согласно сценарию, государство, в котором находится Каза-Альта, стоит в шаге от развала, к тому же оно находится под военной оккупацией иностранной державы. НАТО получает мандат ООН и начинает проведение военной операции – сначала с воздуха, потом с моря, и наконец с помощью сухопутных войск.
С начала октября в учениях задействованы 36 тысяч солдат, 130 самолетов, 16 вертолетов, 60 кораблей и подводных лодок в Средиземном море и Атлантическом океане. В дополнение к 28 странам НАТО, еще 14 стран-партнеров и наблюдателей приняли участие в военных учениях.
Как отмечает издание Die Welt в статье “НАТО готовится к бою против Путина и ИГ (организация запрещена в РФ. – Прим. NEWSru.com)”, Берлин направил туда около трех тысяч солдат – больше чем задействовано во всех немецких миссиях за рубежом. Кроме танков, фрегатов и транспортных самолетов, в Испанию отправили даже вьючное подразделение горных стрелков, мулов и лошадей из баварского города Бад-Райхенхаль.
Домрезе рассказал изданию, что на учениях присутствовали двое российских наблюдателей, которым он передавал необходимую информацию о мероприятиях. В статье отмечается, что посыл подобных учений в том, что защита НАТО стоит и Альянс готов в любой момент, даже за пределами своей территории, приступить к операции по урегулированию кризисов. При этом намек направлен не только Москве, но на Ближний Восток и Африку.
“Самая большая угроза – это одновременность проблем на Востоке и нестабильная ситуация в южных кризисных регионах”, – отметил Домрезе. Сирия, Ирак, Йемен, Сомали, Магриб и, прежде всего, Ливия – вокруг Европы своего рода огненное кольцо, и в ближайшем будущем присутствие НАТО может потребоваться во многих местах, добавил немецкий генерал.
