США подтвердили, что убитые в штате Вашингтон дети родом из России
Американские власти подтвердили убийство детей родом из России в ходе бойни в штате Вашингтон. Об этом сообщил уполномоченный по правам ребенка Павел Астахов в своем Twitter. Он ожидает полной информации. По данным американских СМИ, власти в ближайшее время официально назовут имена жертв и покончившего с собой убийцы – отца семейства.
Убийство произошло в городке Пьюджет-Саунд, штат Вашингтон. В полицию позвонил мужчина, утверждавший, что расстрелял свою семью. Страж порядка с напарником прибыл на место событий. Переговоры с убийцей длились около трех часов, за это время группировка вокруг дома была значительно усилена. В итоге мужчина вышел из дома и застрелился на глазах у полицейских. В доме нашли четыре тела, в том числе трупы супруги злоумышленника и двух подростков – их и считают детьми из России, которых женщина усыновила во время предыдущего брака. Также найдена 12-летняя усыновленная из Китая девочка – с ее показаниями связывают надежду на выяснение мотивов и обстоятельств бойни. Остается неясным, кто стал четвертой жертвой стрелка.
В полиции заявили, что мужчину недавно госпитализировали, и, вернувшись домой, он должен был находиться под сильным воздействием медикаментов.
Российские дипломаты в Сиэтле пока не подтвердили сообщения Астахова. “В настоящий момент информации, подтверждающей, что погибли именно российские дети, нет. Сейчас соответствующие офисы закрыты, но мы
надеемся, что с нами свяжутся после наших многочисленных устных запросов
и звонков”, – сказал “Интерфаксу” дежурный дипломат в генконсульстве России в Сиэтле.
Позднее ТАСС со ссылкой на офис коронера в округе Мэйсон сообщил об отсутствии информации о СМИ касательно личностей убитых. “Мы не можем подтвердить эту информацию”, – сказала представитель офиса. Она уточнила, что официальной информации для СМИ на этот счет офис не предоставлял. “Мы ничего такого не распространяли. Уверяю, мы ничего не сообщали об этом кому бы то ни было”, – указала представитель офиса коронера.
