В Ливии начато следствие по делу российского нефтеналивного танкера “Механик Чеботарев”, задержание которого в России считают незаконным захватом. Членов экипажа уже начали допрашивать: следственные действия продолжатся в ближайшее воскресенье, рассказали “Интерфаксу” в посольстве РФ в Ливии. Их обвиняют в контрабанде нефти.
Экипаж судна находится в городе Мисурата, рассказал посол России Иван Молотков. Он сообщил, что представитель посольства имеет возможность посещать моряков. По его словам, задержанные россияне находятся в приемлемых условиях, у них есть душ и кондиционер. “Обращение с ними вполне корректное. В этом плане особых тревог их состояние у нас не вызывает”, – отметил посол.
Руководитель представительства МИД России в Астрахани Олег Коломин сообщил “Интерфаксу”, что ливийские военные озвучили две причины задержания судна. Первая – попытка незаконного входа в территориальные воды Ливии, вторая – попытка вывоза нефтепродуктов. Ливийские власти, как ожидается, озвучат свою позицию по ситуации 28 сентября.
На данный момент известно, что в составе экипажа 12 человек, все они граждане России. У них конфискованы документы и сотовые телефоны. Изъята также судовая документация. Владельцем судна является российская компания “Oil Marine Group” из Санкт-Петербурга.
Инцидент с задержанием российского танкера произошел 16 сентября. По информации судовладельца, корабль остановили за пределами территориальных вод Ливии. Танкер шел без груза в ливийский порт Завия (Ливия).
В то же время ливийские СМИ сообщили, что нефтяной танкер под российским флагом якобы был задержан при попытке вывезти контрабандой около пяти миллионов тонн нефти из Зуары.
“Считаем захват российского судна и его экипажа незаконным и требуем от властей в Триполи их незамедлительного и безусловного освобождения”, – заявили в МИДе России.
