В один из ресторанов Каира бросили “коктейль Молотова”, погибли 16 человек
В египетской столице произошел взрыв в одном из ресторанов: взорвался “коктейль Молотова”. В результате атаки погибли по меньшей мере 16 человек, сообщает Reuters. По данным агентства, двое человек получили ранения.
Один из представителей местных чиновников рассказал, что виновником атаки был сотрудник, которого уволили из ресторана.
Ранее сообщалось о гибели 18 посетителей ресторана в районе Агоуза, в частности, это утверждал телеканал ITV, ссылаясь на источники в правоохранительных органах.
СМИ сообщают о том же типе взрывного устройства – “коктейле Молотова”, который был брошен в ресторан. Al Arabiya уточняет, что атакован был популярный бар и ночной клуб в одном из известных отелей района.
Издание Youm7 опубликовало в Сети видеозапись пожара, который произошел в ресторане после того, как в него бросили “коктейль Молотова”.
Жертвы взрыва умерли от ожогов или задохнулись в результате возникшего пожара. По словам представителей властей, ресторан (ночной клуб) находился в подвальном помещении, которое не было оборудовано согласно правилам техники безопасности.
Reuters отмечает, что запрещенная в РФ террористическая группировка “Исламское государство” (ДАИШ) ранее неоднократно брало на себя ответственность за атаки в Египте. Кроме того, сторонники “Братьев мусульман” грозили совершить ряд атак в отношении египетских сил безопасности в знак поддержи свергнутого президента Мохаммеда Мурси.
